Welcome 6th graders!
I am very excited to be here at East Middle School this year. I have taught high school math for the past 16 years, but am very happy to be finally teaching 6th graders! (It's been a dream of mine since I became a teacher; to teach middle school)
My husband, my 5 children, and I live in Kingsley on a small farm with all of the traditional farm animals except horses. Most of the food that we eat comes from our farm. My children's ages range from 4 months old to 13 years old. I have one daughter & 4 sons. (My daughter feels a bit outnumbered)
The second week of school you should have a 3-ring binder, 3-hole punched paper (either in a notebook or clipped looseleaf in your binder) and 5-tab dividers. This will help you stay organized in math class.
